South African Leopard Tortoise

This species is a hardy mid-level tortoise that they can take cooler temperatures then their North African counterparts, they grow to two feet plus and can easily weigh over fifty pounds when full size. We incubate for males and females using temperature sex determination with our artificial incubation techniques. The South African leopard tortoise is know for having bold and outgoing personalities. If you’re looking for a tortoise to connect with and have follow you around the yard, when it’s bigger, I have no doubt this is it.

All of our tortoises have been raised to set you up for great success and are well established at triple their hatch weight, healthy, thriving and eating anything offered.
