Turtles, Turtles, Turtles and more Turtles

We have had a recent explosion of hatchling Guerrero painted wood turtles, Rhinoclemmys pulcherrima pulcherrima! This species tends to lay 1-2 elongated eggs at a time so when the hatchlings pip they are folded almost in half longways, resembling a tootsie roll. It doesn’t take long for them to flatten out more like a pancake. We raise our turtles up to be well started, just like our tortoises, so we know we are providing our customers with a strong, healthy and thriving turtle.
